Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors has launched the Dendo Drive House, a residential solar-and-storage product that can be considered an electric or hybrid car that will be available in Japan and Europe this year.
The solution was exhibited at the Geneva International Motor Show to categorize electric cars into a power infrastructure consisting of small household photovoltaic and battery systems and two-way chargers.
Japanese carmakers show that Dendo uses data modeling from 190,000 drivers of the Mitsubishi Outlander hybrid electric sedan, a plug-in hybrid electric SUV and associated with electric cars and vehicles to V2X technology. One of several pilot projects.
Drive House's products include device and component protection that cuts electricity and fuel costs while providing emergency power. Mitsubishi has shown that the electricity generated by solar panels can also be used in household appliances through intelligent handling systems. Dendo Drive House can complete overnight electric car charging to take advantage of cheaper grid power and get power from the vehicle.
Mitsubishi has been active in solar energy and storage for many years and is part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, which was launched in March 1999 and is the third largest car group in the world in 2017. From 2010 to 2017, the alliance sold about 500,000 electric cars and partnerships have invested about 4 billion euros in electric car and battery development projects.
We are a national key high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales and service, specializing in the production of MPPT controllers, inverters, UPS, solar energy, wind energy and other energy power products. The main products include industrial grade MPPT solar controllers, solar inverters, solar power systems, UPS and other energy products. It is a leading manufacturer of MPPT controllers in China.
